PASTELERO IV

Exhibition Dates: June 7 to 20, 2026
Opening Reception: June 8, 2026 at 6 PM
Venue: Art Camp, 3rd Level Greenbelt 5, Makati City

Celebrating the brilliance, versatility, and enduring allure of the soft pastel medium, Pastelero IV brings together an extraordinary collective of 30 contemporary artists. This landmark group exhibition serves as both a masterclass in technical execution and a sweeping survey of modern pastel painting, pushing dry pigment to its absolute creative limits.

Historically revered for its tactile immediacy and pure, luminous depth, soft pastel becomes a vehicle for immense stylistic diversity in this showcase. Shunning rigid boundaries, the exhibition fosters a dynamic dialogue between vastly different visual philosophies. Visitors will experience a rich spectrum of artistic expressions, ranging from the meticulous, breathtaking precision of hyper-realism to the raw, emotive freedom of pure abstraction.

The thematic scope of the collection is equally expansive, revitalizing traditional art genres through 30 distinct creative lenses. The gallery walls will feature deeply intimate portraits and figurative studies, atmospheric landscapes that capture the nuances of fleeting light, and carefully composed still lifes that find beauty in everyday objects. Ultimately, Pastelero IV is an invitation to witness the striking evolution of pastel art, offering audiences a rare encounter with pure color and exquisite craftsmanship.

Opening Reception: March 21, 2026 at 4 PM
Venue: Gateway Gallery, Cubao, Quezon City

Symphony of Colors presents a collective exhibition of seventy artists who have participated in the Senaskwela workshops of renowned Filipino painter and art mentor Fernando Sena. The exhibition brings together recent works that reflect the continuing artistic development of painters shaped by Sena’s longstanding commitment to art education and practice.

Working across a range of subjects—including portraiture, figure studies, landscape, and still life—the artists demonstrate diverse interpretations of color, form, and observation. While each participant has developed an individual voice, the exhibition reveals a shared foundation rooted in disciplined study and creative exploration.

Presented at Gateway Gallery, the show celebrates both the breadth of Sena’s mentorship and the vibrant community of artists that has emerged from his workshops.
